Take a leap...

Made this piece a while back along with Gone Wandering when I was experimenting with that particular type of style. Felt that this was a better and more finished piece, although all my friends really like Gone Wandering.

esentya.

Was bumbling around on the internet when I came across this very old site of mine from my days in NUS which I've forgotten about. Brought back a lot of nice memories of sweats and late nights with a great bunch of friend from back then. I also came across some old photos of mine from the year when I was the chief designer for my hall's rag team.

Presenting the float.

My proudest achievement from the competition. Felt like I was doing up a costume for some wearable art competition. For your info, the costume is entirely made up of recycled plastic lunch boxes and some wire gauze. :)

Sigh, really miss my team from back then. Lol feeling all emotional and wanting to hug them now.

Majulah Stickapura Series//3

Woot!
My sticker design got selected in this year Stickapura. It's the one with the teh tarik man spilling out our stars and crescent.

The stickers are bundled together in a special packs and sold at the following location, Basheer, Asylum, Homespun and InQbox, do get them while they last and let me know if you paste it somewhere in Singapore:P. Lol, I wonder if we get a free pack for ourself, kinda shy to ask it from them tho.

I actually came across this pic on the 1819supermovement blog a while back but I didn't look closely at it, if not I would have seen my teeny teh tarik man in it. Lol.

gone wandering

sometimes, when the world is quiet
and life seems to be holding its breath,
my mind would say goodbye
and go wandering

to the castles in the rain
to the candles in the night...

Traveling has always been in my blood. The call of exotic places, the texture of foreign air, they all managed to stir up my innermost self. But not all journeys are geographical. Some times the most exotic place and beautiful places are somewhat more unconventional ...

A first official attempt at a very very different art style. After 2 nights of staring into my LCD screen and endless fiddling in photoshop, finally managed to pull this off. Quite happy with the result and all, hope to find time to explore this art style more in the future.
